GAMMA NEO
The NEO range consists of 9 types of systems for sustainable windows:
- 3 casement series Planet NEO 62 UP, Eco-slim NEO 62 and Eco-slim NEO 72
- 2 series for sliding doors and windows Top Slide NEO 160 UP, Panoramico NEO
- 2 system for continuous façades Sirio NEO 50, Sirio NEO 50 SG
- 2 systems for door and entry door DOOR 62 and DOOR 72.
The feature that makes the entire range innovative and sustainable is its composition: the entire series is made of secondary aluminium and is the only one with a certified supply chain by Bureau Veritas, a third-party certifying body.
The impact of the content of the recycled material is on average a percentage of 25%, maintaining unchanged the performance in terms of thermal insulation, sound insulation and durability over time, compared to similar systems in primary aluminum.
In addition, the use of recycled material allows to reduce on average the life cycle of the product, LCA, CO2 emissions by 56% and to lower the amount of primary energy used by 48%, very important results in terms of sustainability also in production cycles.
The certification of the supply chain allows the designer and the construction company to have the concrete guarantee, attested by a third party, that the percentages of pre and post consumer recycling material correspond to what is actually declared by the gammista, in this case by Fresia Alluminio SpA. These parameters allow to obtain the credits related to MR4 for the LEED certification and B46 for the accession to the ITACA protocol.
But that’s not all.
The NEO Range has also obtained the Environmental Product Declaration EPD® (Environment Product Declaration) , certification of international importance, issued by the Swedish Environmental Management Council, which quantifies the environmental performance of products, through universally recognised sustainability parameters.
