THE CORRECT INSTALLATION
The installation of the window on a subframe is the prevailing situation for the fixtures installed after the 80's; in this case the replacement will be simple: simply disassemble a cover to get an overview of the situation and also to take the correct measures of the new window.
Once the cover has been removed, it will be possible to check the type of subframe, whether of wood or metal, and what are its conditions.

- If the subframe is made of wood and is still healthy (prevailing situation) must be left, while if it is rotten (very rare situation), must be eliminated and eventually replaced with a flat table to recover the thickness.

If the subframe is made of metal it may be necessary to make a cut along the perimeter to interrupt the thermal bridge.
Established therefore that the window has a subframe we can plan the installation of the new one with the simplest system that is:

THE INSULATION OF THE BOX
Insulate the boxes by reducing costs, without breaking the walls and without soiling.
The new windows guarantee more efficient thermal-acoustic insulation performance than the old ones, which are often replaced to reduce air conditioning costs and improve the living comfort of apartments. This, however, does not completely solve the problem of the overall redevelopment of the window hole, on the contrary, if there is a shutter box and a marble pass-through that are not thermally corrected during renovation, the result in terms of energy savings often does not even reach 50%.
In terms of energy, the traditional box is a real problem and should always be upgraded even before intervening on the window while it is often neglected or arranged only from the aesthetic point of view. The analysis of the isotherms in the situation of 0° outside and 20° inside shows that the situation is extremely serious.
The THERMOPOSA system is one of the best certified energy upgrading systems for boxes.
The combination of these solutions guarantees an excellent air-tightness of the box with a reduction of draughts of 88% (verified in the laboratory) and an acoustic abatement in standard conditions of at least 10 decibels. In addition, the insulation offered by insulating materials that fit inside considerably increase the surface temperature, thus avoiding the formation of mold and condensation on the perimeter of the box.
THERMOPOSA, together with a team of experts and thermotechnicians, has developed a specific package for the thermoacoustic requalification of the box. It was designed to insulate any box without any kind of masonry work, quickly and cleanly, and does not require any modification to the original box.
The THERMOPOSA package also includes the application of an innovative air-tight belt guide and a tooth applied on the edge of the lower panel towards the roll sheet to reduce the entry of air into the cavity.
In addition, the acoustic sheet can further halve the noise. The result was certified at the Rosenheim Institute in Germany for a reduction of up to 39 dB.

THE CUTTING OF MARBLE
The elimination of thermal bridges under renovation: marble cutting with the THERMOPOSA system.
The complete redevelopment of the window hole, in addition to the replacement of old windows with new high-performance ones, also requires the reduction of all "thermal bridges". One of the most frequent is the sill that is often a slab of continuous dietra (marble or other) that connects the interior with the outside. On this surface a very high heat flow is generated, which causes a considerable waste of heat. Thermal analysis shows that with an interruption of the marble the problem can be solved easily.
This operation can be performed more efficiently through a special machine for cutting the window sill that works without emitting a trace of dust. The groove that is obtained on the window sill after the cut, is filled with an insulating foam: this creates a perfect line of thermal division between the internal and external environment, the new window will then be placed over this interruption hiding it perfectly from view.
The resulting thermal insulation allows for a reduction in heating costs of about 6%.
This intervention, in addition to creating real energy savings, is recommended to avoid condensation points.

Great attention was also paid to the installation in place to identify the best solutions both for the installation of the window and for the redevelopment of the window hole eliminating all thermal bridges, from the insulation of the box to the cut of the marble.
The ALsistem's THERMOPOSA system complies with the guidelines of CasaClima and meets the requirements laid down by law with the new ministerial decree of 26 June 2015.

The professional qualification course is divided into two days and combines a theoretical and a practical part.
- THEORY: we deepen the concepts of energy efficiency, we teach to choose the best sealing products, through tests and experiments, and to design and build the sealing nodes.
- PRACTICE: participants are brought together in groups of two people and receive a subframe on which to install plaster door profiles and vapour barriers, air tightness to build the junction to the wall and then mount the frame of a window using the self-expanding tapes and putting into practice the acquired notions.
